After previous successful meetings between Novicom representatives and Vietnamese companies in Hanoi, the Deputy Minister of the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications, Mr. Bùi Hoàng Phương, visited the Czech Republic this time.
On Thursday, March 27, 2025, the Deputy Minister was welcomed by Mr. Jindřich Šavel, CEO of Novicom, for a half-day meeting on finding business and investment opportunities for cooperation with Vietnam.
The meeting took place directly at the headquarters of Novicom in Prague, and was also attended by representatives of other Czech entities, such as the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic - Mr. Michal Štefl, Senior Delivery Manager of ESET - Mr. Lukáš Šlehofer and Senior Consultant of ITCON Solutions - Mr. Karel Štěpán.
In a pleasant, friendly atmosphere, they discussed the possibilities of mutual cooperation in the field of cybersecurity and computer network security, network management automationand the active SOC (Security Operation Center) concept, building modern XDR solutions and integrated SOC services, or in the field of providing IT and communication services to the public sector.
This meeting in Prague followed up on last year's series of meetings between representatives of Novicom and Vietnamese companies, which took place in Hanoi and concluded with the 4-day international exhibition Viet Nam International Defence Expo 2024, organized by the Ministry of National Defence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in December 2024 at the Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam.
