On Tuesday 26 March Exponet organized the 13th annual IT Security Workshop that was held in the Grandior Hotel in Prague. Novicom had a possibility to present its two key products – the AddNet, an integrated DDI/NAC tool, and the BVS – Business Visibility Suite, a tool for clear visualization of network communications and modeling of business services context with IT infrastructure.
The conference registered this year 277 participants with a large percentage of IT experts. Managers, businessmen and consultants were also well represented. The corporate segment was dominated by companies operating in the IT sector, as well as representatives of state administration and local government.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about current cyber security topics in critical infrastructures, in the field of artificial intelligence and its use in detecting threats, and about the future of IT security. In particular, issues such as management of privileged accounts, risk related to internal users of the organization's network or the highly discussed risk of cloud computing remained a concern.
Novicom presented its solutions within the presentation provided by its sales director, Jindřich Šavel, entitled "Network visibility and integrated network management - an essential part of the SOC strategy".
“Only excellent knowledge and control of the protected network gives the defenders an advantage over cyberattacks. That was the subject of an open debate with all interested participants after my presentation. And how Novicom solutions could help in this case”- said Jindřich Šavel.
The final point of the conference was the traditional prize drawing the questionnaire of the participants.
